Asking people if there is anything they would like for christmas... Even just a general idea as to what they would like or need and getting the reply... "I'm not really bothered, anything will do"
OK I'll get you a box full of bugger all!!!! SEE HOW THAT FARES!!!

Not living close to my bro, so's I could have a nice box of bugger all for Christmas without it had to be sent by The Halifax Packet Ship. I have always, ALWAYS wanted a nice box of bugger all for Christmas. Closest I ever got was a squalid little bag of 'nuckin 'futs when I was but a wee lad.

Quite a few things... - My cold is now affecting my voice, which is hoarse. - Christmas shopping for Northie. Having said I would buy her 2 things she wanted, yesterday she said she didn't want one and couldn't find the exact thing for the other. And throw in the fact I am having doubts over my backup plan as well... - my housemate from hell. We just had a chat (first time in ages after a really picky email over small things with house cleaning) and having to find a balance over the next few months. At least I officially confirmed I was moving out as soon as possible!

Xmas shopping. Everywhere is mobbed and - it seems - people just get exceptionally ignorant at this time of year. I've lost count of the number of times I've either had someone walk into me - and not apologise for it - or just push me out of the way!

*Bumps into Nocturne and pushes her out of the way*
oooooo!!! The fact that I have been asked to complete a method statement for an installation. I haven't even seen the display to be installed, nor have I seen or been given a description of the installation site... How the hell can I do that!!??
I may as well be asked to tightrope walk, while blind-folded!
*The door to sdemons office opens, and his Manager walks in brandishing a blindfold... "Here, go and walk that Tightrope y' no good feckless cretin!"*
*Sighs* Ah well!

I should have posted this earlier, but HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, for those that don't know - in other words, the tax man) annoyed me thoroughly this morning. I spent a good half hour phoning various offices to sort something out for a client, but got nowhere, climaxing with HMRC giving me a number that didn't exist. But everything worked swimmingly well for the partner of the firm when he rang up later over the same issue.

Still not having a job and the stupid economy and the way Wall Street traders react to the smallest little thing.

Probably just a quick fix, but there is usually a lot of seasonal work at tax places this time of year. The unbelievably slow process of building ab muscle.

I want to be able to login to the Lecture Hall forum. The username and password I enter does not work. I click "forgot my password", The username and email I enter do not work. I was under the impression that I only needed to set my username, password, and email in my profile. I need some kind of admin function that will let me set up everything in one place so I am not hassled every time I need to login on yet another web page.

January - it's personal tax month and clients don't think it's important to provide all their paperwork of income. And then there is the stupid people at the Inland Revenue (the tax people)...
