Many of you may not know but today in my country we celebrate a "Women's Day"! Yep, every woman gets a flower (a tulip or a rose) - from her husband, boyfriend, friend or sometimes even a complete stranger. The streets are full of women carrying flowers and men buying and offering them. So I thought of promoting this nice tradition in here! Every woman who signs in will get a flower Every male bander can post a flower for any female bander he likes.

This tradition is almost 100 years old. It was started in US in 1909. Next year it was brought to Europe, and now it's quite popular here, in some countries they even have day off! ;D Kara J - here's a flower for you!

Doesn't this also coincide with International Women's Day, which is also today?

That's a great traditon Arrandion. I don't think we have that here in the States. At least I've never heard of it so maybe it's a European International Day. *nods* I'm moving to Poland.
