We just finished one of our competitions, so I would like your input. What went well in the competition? What went poorly? What did you like, and what did you dislike? Is there anything we could do to make this better and to encourage more participation?
Any constructive critism would be very appreciated!

Enjoyed the last competition very muchly, so I did. Would be well to maybe have a doc. with the item in question and its history description etc. handy though. To prevent something like this from happening.... question by Brid: Is it from the Age of Legends? answer by U-C Horn: No... Arangar and Osangar were most certainly AoL items .. ;D

They were indeed. Hence my apology and correction on that thread for not picking up that mistake earlier. *twaps Horn*

Having both Horn and Tay answering worked because then it didn't fall on one person, but also as previously said there was some confusion on answers.
I really did like this competition because it was one I could really get involved with. Since I don't know much about java and all that stuff when we had to create cards and sites and things of that nature, that wasn't stuff I could really do to help my regiment. Something like this made it possible for people to get involved.
I don't think there was anything that SS could do to encourage more participation in this, that has to come from the leadership of the regiment I think.

I deliberately stayed out of running the competition this time around as Horn and Tay started it while I was away, and felt it was best if it stayed that way.
This feedback idea is something new we are trying, and we want your views so that we can keep improving the competitions.
Just to let you know, I have got a rough idea for September's competition in my head, which the Senior Staff will work on over the next couple of weeks.
