Ack no don't do that! ;D I can't stand the sight of myself on TV for some reason, though no doubt my bf's mother (who taped the TV bit) will make me watch next time I'm at her house.

What was the issue at hand again? I am from the States, so not up to speed on UK happenings.

Identity Cards. Most Brits don't want them, but the government want everyone to have one anyway. The cards will have iris recognition and fingerprint scanning and will help combat fraud and terrorism according to the gov't. Which I say it complete rubbish, it won't do a thing except waste tax payers money. Lol, you can tell I'm pretty opinionated on the matter which is how I ended up on TV in the first place.

Pretty high tech. Similar, though not quite as encompassing is the Federal Gov't trying to mandate uniformity to Drivers License issued by the 50 States. Didn't get real far, before a bunch of states shot it down.

Yeah, it's just more 1984 garbage from the government. As if CCTV watching my every move wasn't enough.

Yeah, those seem like some hightech ID's. Glad the interviews went well. I was interviewed randomly down in Loiusiana one time on the local news of the town I was in to see a concert. We were just walking around town to kill time (keep in mind this town is about 1400 miles from where I live) since we were out of our hotel room and the concert want until the evening. We meandered into a new development of shops and restaurants and a news crew was there getting peoples opinion about it....we were the only ones there. It was fun though.

I always wondered how news crews managed to find people to interview. Cause here in the US, they always manage to find the crazy lady with cats or rollers in her hair.
