OH TAY!! There comes a time in every young person's life where they must make a decision that will affect them for the rest of their lives. A decision that will have a far reaching impact on both them, and those around them. This is not that time, nor is this that decision. However, I would like you to pick your division like you would pick your nose, ear, seat, or teeth (But for the sake of hygiene and good health, please don’t pick those things in that order). Please post your decision here on this post and, if you want to, why you picked what you picked!
Divisional Visits
- Archers: Sat 29 Apr --> Fri 5 May Task: due to unforseen events, the DLO's for the archers failed to task Huey with any task, but let's face it! A week with the Archers is tasking enough. Move on to the Cav, Huey! - Cavalry: Sat 6 May --> Fri 12 May Task: Interview a Cavalry member - Infantry: Sat 22 Apr --> Fri 28 Apr Task: build a shed and do short order cook

Ok, I'm sick and tired of being a raw recruit... So, for any of you that may have had some doubt. I'm an archer and if you have a problem with it, blame blade ;D.

Reporting for duty!
I'm gonna go with the Cavalry. I had a lot of fun in all of the divisions, but I had the most fun in the Cavalry, so that was the obvious choice. Thanks to everyone, I had a great time, and I look forward to being a part of the Cavalry.

Kerian here and reporting for duty. *salutes rather sharply*
After careful consideration I am not entirely positive on the best division. Unfortunately, since so many seem to be on LOA in the cavalry that particular group was not well represented and could not put forth its best face. While the archers, though some are also on LOA, seem to be undergoing a transitional period and it is unclear to me where their future lies. The infantry on the other hand, seem to still have their heads straight and remember how to have a good time without restricting movement too much. Plus there are just some things one cant say no to.
Therefore, with this thought in mind, I will put up my bow till the next time I go hunting and will learn the sword. Infantry it will be.

Runs up to the end of the line, panting a bit. "Sorry, I got lost on the way here." *ready to receive his assignment*
edit~Decision
Alright, so here are my observations in a nutshell.
My first div. was Archers, who by the way are crazy awesome; lots of fun. They were also among the first members of the band I met on the DM site. One of the best things was I had a real warm welcome thread, which I truly appreciated. Task: Singing in the taverns and serving at the Poolside Bar. Very enjoyable, helped me get comfortable with the archers since I was very new at the time.
Next was Cavalry, which at the time was low on members and as Kieran mentioned that might have been because they were LOA, or they were busy with other things at the time, unfortunately I don't think I saw their best face possibly because of that... Task: Interview Twin and draw her a pic. Great way to get to know her better.
Last, but not least, was the Infantry, where I served as the jovial bartender in the Kafe, interviewed three infantry members, and began combat training. Great stuff that. Here, RLO Kristine took a real interest in helping me when I had questions, making sure I was having fun and doing alright, and even encouraging me to start the weapons training thread. Task: Serve drinks at Kafe and interview 3 Inf. members. Definitely liked the interviews very much, got to know Wooly, Masema, and Kristine and their fighting techniques and favorite foods . ;D
Noting all that, I have decided that I will join the infantry because it was a tie between archers and infants and what tipped the balance was that I've always been a fan of close-range combat. I enjoy being in the front line working the blade whether it be an ashandarei or dual swords. I will always have a soft spot for archers though, that's for sure.

Ok!. So the time has come for me to pick a regiment! Before I go on, I just want to say that I had a wonderful time in all the regiments. I would like to say that I didn't get a chance to really experience the Infantry, this was my fault no thiers, I was not sure what the expectations were for a raw recruit. So in the end I'm not sure if I really got a true experience from the Infantry.
Now, between the Cavalry and the Archers. I had a tremendous amount of fun in both of these regiments. I want to say thank you to Lord Horn who especially made me feel at home in the Cavalry.
It was actually a tough choice, but I am pleased with my decision. I'm joining the Archers! I really felt at home there, and on three seperate occasions people said that I was a natural Archer at heart. Also, I found that this regiment had the most helpful and fun members. At least in my personal experience.
Anyway. Yay Archers! ^_^
